Congratulations to the Brisbane Roar winning the Hyundai A league! And good luck to the Socceroos in their preparation for the FIFA World Cup in Brazil! Soccer or if you prefer, football, is a popular sport here in Australia and the weekend games are a fixture for many Australian families. Cold, cloudy mornings, rugged up in scarves and jackets with a steaming cup of coffee turning into sunny winter afternoons sitting on the sidelines as you watch family members big and small enjoy this team sport. With junior clubs being not for profit organisations, many really heavily on sponsorship and parent or family involvement.
